Who is Solex?

Solex was created as a preventative wellness tool, not a treatment device.

It was designed for everyday people who experience posture-related discomfort and want a simple, accessible way to support their spine and overall movement.

According to the doctor who designed Solex, restoring the natural curve of the spine is one of the most essential foundations of rehabilitation and long-term body function. In clinical settings, this is a daily focus yet most people don’t fully understand what a neutral spine is or how to support it outside of treatment.

The question that sparked the creation of Solex was simple:

“How can I help everyone with posture-related symptoms in the most simple and affordable way?”

The answer became Solex.

A tool that is simple in concept, yet powerful when used consistently. With daily use, Solex helps bring the body into a deeper state of calm, restore spinal curvature, and reset the nervous system so the rest of the body can function optimally. This support allows people to move better, feel better, and return to the active lifestyle they want to live.

In most gyms and homes, the standard tool available is a flat foam roller. The problem with flat rollers is that they fail to support the spine’s natural curves. Yet those curves are exactly what clinicians work to restore every day, especially for people experiencing neck and back discomfort.

A neutral spine is not a flat spine. It is a position where the natural curves are maintained and the axial system the head, spine, and core is properly supported. When the spine is aligned this way, the arms and legs can function more efficiently during everyday activities like lifting, carrying, and jumping.

Solex was designed as an alternative to flat rollers. Its contoured shape follows the spine, providing support where the body needs it most. This design helps bring the spine back into its natural curvature, reduce posture-related discomfort, and support overall movement and function.

The inspiration came directly from clinical practice. While treating patients, the doctor often used small towel rolls placed under the neck and lower back to help restore spinal curves during stretching and strengthening exercises. Over time, this repetitive workaround became frustrating there simply wasn’t a single tool that could do this effectively.

That frustration led to an idea.

The doctor began sketching a shape inspired by the spine itself something that would fit the body naturally and could be given to patients to use every day at home. Once prototypes were created, they were tested in the clinic with co-workers, family, and friends. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive.

The concept became Solex.
